After Dark skateboard exhibition attracts top Australian talent

Australian skate brand, Armourdillo has sourced some of Australia’s best artists to take part in its After Dark deck exhibition, to be held at The Alley Bar, Melbourne from July 13 to August 3, 2007.

The Armourdillo brand was started by four Melbourne skaters in 2003 and now stocks more than 300 retails across Australia and Europe.

The original board designs follow the theme ‘After Dark’ and will be on sale to the public throughout the exhibition, with all proceeds going to the Reach Foundation and The Venny, a community childcare centre in Melbourne.

Armourdillo Managing Director, Chris Northwood said there will be an amazing collection of work on display at the exhibition.

“We have collected pieces from more than 30 artists, each with different creative backgrounds and different interpretations of the theme; the array of work that will be on display is quite mind-blowing.

“Australia has such a great wealth artists and it’s fantastic that so many were able to lend their time and talent to such a great cause”.
