What is StreetWise?
‘Streetwise’ is a targeted national grassroots sports development program designed to offer kids from all walks of life the opportunity to become actively involved in freestyle sports in Australia. StreetWise provides opportunities for young Australian’s to get active, stay healthy and enjoy action sports such as skateboarding on a regular basis, in a safe and well managed environment.
‘StreetWise’ targets both boys and girls aged between 6-17 years of age. Participants are able to enjoy 4 hours of coaching at their local skatepark with some of Australia’s best freestyle sporting athletes who are officially recognized via the Australian Sports Commissions (ASC) National Coach Accreditation Scheme as level one skateboarding coaches.
